TA'AWUN TRUST SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

Ta'awun Trust offers scholarship in two categories:

Scholarship for Huffaz

Ta'awun Trust has initiated this Scheme for Huffaz from 2002-2003. It is awarded to those applicants who have Sanad (Certificate) of Hifz from Madrasa and are already pursuing or seeking to pursue their careers in B. A. / B. Sc. and Professional Courses (I.T.I./ Diploma Engineering/ Diploma Basic Training/ B. Ed.) as regular students in recognized Universities/ Colleges. Selection is made on the basis of merit cum financial need of the student through Written Test and Interview. Each scholarship carries an amount of Rs.500/- per month for ten months (August to May).

Scholarship in Journalism

Ta'awun Trust has initiated this scheme from 2000-2001. It is awarded to the students pursuing Journalism in Indian universities or recognised institutions. Selection is made through interviews on the basis of merit cum financial need of the student. Each scholarship carries an amount of Rs.1000/- per month for ten months (August to May).

All donations to the Trust are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act and it has also pemanent registration under FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act).
