New Delhi: Chairman of
Ta'awun Trust Dr. Mohd. Manzoor Alam has expressed its deep anguish over death of as many
as 110 people and an immense damage to property following an incessant spell of rains in
Gujarat.
Dr. Alam has appealed to the people to
help the victims without taking into consideration their caste and creed. He has also
welcomed the centre's announcement of an aid of Rs. 500 crores for the state.
Chairman of the Ta'awun Trust has
appealed to the philanthropists to extend their assistance to the Trust so that it could
also participate in relief operations.
Ta'awun Trust is a New Delhi-Based
non-profit, non-governmental organisation involved in national-building and empowering the
Muslim community with respect to education and healthcare.
