Emergency Relief by Ta'awun Trust
27.12. 2004:
A dedicated team of workers as Tsunami Relief Committee Comprised of Ta'awun Trust and All
India Milli Council, Tamil Nadu made a reconnaissance survey in and around Chennai,
visited Hospitals, met awe stuck patients and mortuary.

TAKEN CARE OF NEEDS – The very next day of the
tragedy Truck carrying biscuits, breads, medicines, bleaching powder and other petty items
were taken to different parts of affected areas and Relief Items were distributed as a
token of gesture.
REHABILITATION PROJECT FOR TSUNAMI AFFECTED PEOPLE
The estimated cost of the project:
Cost of land (1.35 Acre) 15,00,000/-
(Fifteen Lakhs)
Construction cost of 70 houses
70,00,000/- (Seventy Lakhs)
Total cost of project 8.5

APPEAL – We earnestly appeal to the individuals and Institutions to
come forward and extend helping hand in this project. The Trust has already received
15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs) for the cost of the land. We require 70,00,000/-
(Rupees Seventy Lakhs) for construction cost of 70 New Houses for Tsunami survivors.

this world and in the hereafter. The cheques and DD may kindly be sent in favour of
Ta’awun Trust. |
